First day that the chacos are back on my lower extremities. Stellar.
Fundraising . . . isn’t fun for most people. Now, I understand why. I’m frightened by how easy it is to for the charitable acts to become so overwhelming they replace the one we’re truly doing it for. Jesus.
I might teach kids outdoor education in Santa Cruz as a segway between graduation and masters/credentialing programs. Stoked!
I wrote a verse on the inside of my hand last night with a surgical pen (leftover from a time I gave blood), because it was something I really wanted to remember and knew that water wouldn’t wash the pen off. Also, the earring I have in my cartilage hurts so I cup my ear as I sleep. . . I had a verse written on my ear all day. I used a non-washable surgical pen. Genius!
Here’s the verse that pricked my ears, so to speak: “He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?”
declares the LORD. – Jeremiah 22:16.
Righteous.

from the sounds of it, maybe you could do like scriptural tattoos for people as a fundraiser, with surgical pens, on their ears…

tattoos? Genius. Seriously though, I’m in the market for another one, but I refuse to pull another design from online . . . and I can’t draw very well.
Bryan Gumpy, you mean to tell me that after six months I taught you nothing? I feel like a failure right now. Google chaco . . . it has the potential to change your life (probably not, but it changed mine!) :-)
